Nah, just kidding, love. You know, I've sensed once or twice that you get a bit self-conscious about it, but I sort of secretly love that you aren't a morning person.

Oh, that smile of yours? It's the most delightful sight I have ever seen. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't also absolutely adore that barely-there stare I've been lucky enough to get on a few early mornings…

Or, goodness… that tiny little grin and even smaller “'mornin'” last weekend… sigh

Gosh, you are just so absurdly beautiful, no matter what expression you're currently wearing…

And love, can I tell you another secret?

I know I've told you that my body just doesn't let me sleep late, but the truth is… I can't imagine a better way to spend a lazy Saturday morning after a late night with you watching a terrible movie with intentional continuity problems and an oddly well-produced end credits song than just lounging in bed with you. Even if I'm awake… just, being there next to you… hearing you breathe… getting to watch you sleep…

Gosh, sometimes I just wish I could just watch you sleep…

Until you start to stir a bit… when I'll sneak out of bed and fix you up your coffee, just exactly how you like it.
